The dress goes on over the head and the matching panty covers the diaper, so nothing rides up when she's being carried, passed around, or set down on a beach towel. Parents buy this for a first lu'au, a family portrait, or a flight to visit relatives; we ship a lot of them to grandparents on the mainland who want the baby dressed to match her older sister.

Sizes — 6 Months, 12 Months, 18 Months, 24 Months

Included — jumper dress plus matching panty

Sleeves — puff

Colours — Blue, Pink, Purple, Red, Teal/Green

Fabric — 65% polyester / 35% cotton

Label — Kole Kole, made in Hawaii

How This Fits

Sized by age the way infant clothing normally is, and it runs about true. If your baby is on the taller end of her age bracket or you want the set to last through a whole summer, take the next size up — the pull-on jumper has no waistband to fight, so a little extra length just reads as a longer dress for a month or two. The panty is cut to sit over a diaper, not under one.

Wear It For

First birthday parties, lu'au dinners where she'll be on somebody's hip all evening, church on a warm Sunday, and studio or beach photo sessions. The poly-cotton blend holds its shape through a long afternoon better than straight cotton, which matters when the photos are at 4pm and she's been awake since six.

Coordinating Pieces

Tropical Garden Lei runs across four pieces, so the baby doesn't have to be the odd one out. Older girls can wear the drop waist ruffle dress, the button front dress or the capri set in the same print. Order the sisters together and the colours line up in photographs.

Care

Machine wash cold and tumble low. The polyester content means it comes out needing very little attention — no ironing for most people, and it won't shrink down a size after a hot week of laundry.

Why Shop MauiShirts?

28 years of Hawaiian clothing shipped from our Maui showroom, since 1998

We stock matching prints across sizes, so siblings actually coordinate

Ask us about fit before you order — a person answers

Free shipping to anywhere in the USA and its territories — no minimum order.
