Elastic straps mean no zip, no buttons and no fumbling at the back — she steps into it and she's ready. It's the dress that goes in the beach bag for a lu'au night and comes home damp and sandy without complaint, then goes back in the wash for the next one.

Sizes — 8, 10, 14 (young girl's)

Colour — Pink

Straps — elastic bungee straps, pull-on

Fabric — 65% polyester / 35% cotton

Label — Kole Kole, made in Hawaii

How This Fits

Sized to young girl's numbers, not toddler sizes — 8 is the smallest we stock and 14 is the largest. The elastic straps do the work of fitting the shoulders, so there's more tolerance here than in a set-strap dress: a girl growing out of an 8 will usually still get a season out of it before the straps sit too high. If she's between 10 and 14, take the 14 and let her wear it a little longer through the body. The poly-cotton blend has some body to it and holds its shape rather than clinging.

Wear It For

Lu'au nights, hula recitals, family photos on the beach, Easter and Sunday church in warm weather, and the long humid afternoons of a Hawaii vacation when she wants something that isn't a swimsuit. It also works as a cover-up straight over a swimsuit between the pool and lunch.

Care

Machine wash cold and tumble dry low. The polyester in the blend keeps shrinkage minimal and drops most wrinkles on its own — this is not a dress you need to iron before a party.

Why Shop MauiShirts?

Selling Hawaiian clothing from our Maui showroom since 1998 — 28 years

We list the sizes we actually stock, so you're not ordering a guess

Ask us a fit question before you buy and a person answers

Free shipping to anywhere in the USA and its territories — no minimum order. If she's tall for her age, the 14 gives you room to grow into.

Do the straps adjust? They're elastic rather than adjustable — they stretch to sit on the shoulders, which is why the fit is forgiving as she grows.

Can she wear it over a swimsuit? Yes.
