It starts at 6 months with a matching panty and goes all the way up to a 14, so the toddler and the ten-year-old can be dressed the same for a family photo without anyone hunting a second print. The bungee-style elastic straps do the work here: no buckles to adjust, nothing to dig into a small shoulder, and the dress stays put while a child runs.

Sizes — 6 Months, 12 Months, 18 Months, 24 Months, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, 14, 6X-Large

Colour — Black

Straps — elastic, bungee style

Waist — empire shirring

Closure — self tie

Infant sizes — non-elastic empire shirring waist, comes with matching panty

Fabric — 100% cotton, made in Hawaii, USA

Label — RJC

How This Fits

Buy your child's usual size. The shirred empire waist and the elastic straps give this dress a lot of forgiveness in both directions — it will fit a slim child without hanging off her and still go over a sturdier build. The self tie lets you snug the back in a little if the dress is bought with a season of growing room in mind. Infant sizes are built differently: the empire shirring at the waist is non-elastic there, so those run truer and with less stretch than the girls' sizes above them.

Wear It For

Family portraits on the beach, a lu'au where she'll be on the grass within ten minutes, flower girl duty at an informal ceremony, first day of a Hawaii trip, and every hot afternoon after that.
