This is the one we hand them. It's white, it reads formal enough to walk down an aisle, and the poly-cotton blend means it goes in the wash with everything else afterwards instead of into a dry-cleaning bag.

Infant sizes — two-piece set with matching panty

Small girl's and young girl's — dress only

Colour — white

Fabric — 65% polyester / 35% cotton

Label — RJC, Kole Kole, made in Hawaii

How This Fits

The bungee construction is the point: elastic gives at the bodice and shoulders, so the dress has some grow-room built in rather than fitting for exactly one summer. That also makes it easy to get on and off a wriggling toddler with no zip to fight. If your child is between the infant and small girl's range, the deciding factor is usually the panty — infant sizes include it, the older ranges don't. Tell us her age and height and we'll tell you which range to order.

Wear It For

Beach ceremonies and flower-girl duties, vow renewals, family portrait sessions on the sand, Easter and church, and the long humid afternoon of a lu'au reception where a stiff mainland party dress would be miserable.

Care

Machine wash cold, tumble low. The polyester content keeps it from wrinkling in a suitcase and helps the white stay white through repeated washing — a practical advantage over an all-cotton or rayon children's dress.

Why Shop MauiShirts?

Shipping Hawaiian clothing from our Maui showroom since 1998 — 28 years

Wedding parties are our specialty, keiki included, not an afterthought

We'll help you pick the right size range before you order

Free shipping to anywhere in the USA and its territories — no minimum order. Infant sizes come as a two-piece set. Small girl's and young girl's are the dress on its own.

Is the white bright enough to stand with the bridal party? It's a clean white, which is why we stock it for ceremonies. If you're matching it to adult wedding-white pieces, order everything together and we'll check the shades line up.

Will she be comfortable in it all day? The elastic bungee bodice means nothing digs in, and there's no zip or stiff waistband. Most parents report the dress stays on well past the ceremony.

Can it be handed down to a younger sibling? Usually yes — the blend holds its shape and colour through a lot of washing, and the elastic construction fits a range rather than one exact measurement.
