The first is a man who wants an aloha shirt that doesn't cling anywhere and takes a 3X or 4X without hunting for it. The second is a couple dressing to match for a dinner or a photo — Ebony and Ivory both photograph clean, and the cut is loose enough that nobody has to think about their waistline all evening. If you sit somewhere between those two, it still works.

Sizes — Small, Medium, Large, X-Large, 2X-Large, 3X-Large, 4X-Large

Fit — loose cut; runs large for most people

Colours — Ebony, Ivory

Fabric — 100% rayon, made in Hawaii, USA

Buttons — bamboo wood

Details — notched collar, matched pocket, French placket, yoke with side pleats, straight bottom hem

How This Fits

This shirt runs large for most people. If you're between sizes, take the smaller one — you will not run out of room. If you normally wear a Large in a mainland dress shirt and want an easy, loose drape, the Large is right; if you want it closer to the body, order the Medium. The straight bottom hem is made to hang outside your trousers, not tuck in, and rayon falls with more weight than cotton so the shape stays put rather than ballooning.

Wear It For

Anniversary dinners where you and your partner are dressing to match, Friday aloha wear in an office that still expects a collar, and long humid evenings when you want a shirt that isn't touching you. Ebony reads dressier after dark; Ivory suits a daytime lunch or a lawn party.

Care

Rayon wants cold water or dry cleaning. Wash cold, hang it to dry, press with a warm iron if needed. Keep it out of a hot dryer — that's the one thing that will cost you a size.

Why Shop MauiShirts?

28 years selling Hawaiian clothing from our Maui showroom — since 1998

Sizes through 4X in the same print, so big & tall isn't an afterthought

We tell you when a shirt runs large before you buy it

Free shipping to anywhere in the USA and its territories — no minimum order.
