RJC Robert J. Clancey Hawaiian Shirts
RJC, short for Robert J. Clancey, makes many of the cotton aloha shirts we sell, and they're made in Hawaii. Men's shirts like Classic Hibiscus run Small to 5X-Large, with matching boys' sets, muumuus and blouses in many of the same prints.
Buying guide & FAQ
Why we carry so much RJC
Two reasons: the size run and the matching. Prints like Classic Hibiscus, Pineapple Hibiscus and Kilauea Big Island Volcano come in men's sizes from Small to 5X-Large. The same prints often come as a boy's cabana set (sized 6 months to 7T) or a girl's dress, which is how so many families end up in the same print for photos.
The men's shirts are mostly 100% cotton with coconut shell buttons and a pocket cut to match the print. RJC also makes rayon shirts, muumuus that run to 3X Plus and up to 4X Plus in Rainbow Plumeria, women's fitted blouses to 3X-Large, and island T-shirts.
Sizing
RJC's men's shirts are a traditional loose aloha cut with side pleats below the back yoke. Sizes aren't standard between Hawaiian brands, and an aloha shirt is meant to hang loose anyway. If you're unsure, measure a shirt that fits you well (armpit to armpit, then collar seam to hem) and send the numbers to jz@MauiShirts.com before you order.
