Pick the dress by the day you're dressing for
For a resort dinner or a wedding guest outfit, look at the long slit tank dresses. Two Palms' zipper back slit tank, for example, is fitted through the bodice with side slits so you can still walk normally.
For sightseeing and long flights, the bias cut flared dresses pull on over your head with no zip and fall in a soft diagonal line that's kind to most figures.
For an easy everyday dress, the muumuu is still the one. The RJC Pineapple Hibiscus muumuu pulls on over your head, has a side pocket, and is cotton, so you can wash it as often as you wear it.
Rayon or cotton?
Rayon is the soft, flowing fabric many of the Paradise Found dresses are cut from. It drapes beautifully and needs gentle washing. Cotton is sturdier and the easier choice if you'll wear the dress every week.
Finding your size
Each Hawaiian label works from its own size chart, so the size on your favorite dress from one brand may not carry over to the next. Lay a dress you already like flat, measure the bust and the length, and email both numbers to jz@MauiShirts.com. We'll match them to the dress you have your eye on.

What should I wear to a luau?
A Hawaiian dress in a bright print is the classic choice. A long tank dress or a muumuu both work, and both are comfortable on a warm evening outdoors.
What is the difference between a muumuu and a sundress?
A muumuu is a loose, flowing Hawaiian dress, usually with sleeves, cut to hang from the shoulders without a fitted waist. A sundress is lighter and sleeveless, usually with straps or a smocked top.
Do you carry plus size Hawaiian dresses?

Many are. Paradise Found's dresses are made in Hawaii, while some others, like RJC's Pineapple Hibiscus muumuu, are made elsewhere in the USA. The Fabric line on each product page says where that dress was made.
