Buying guide & FAQ
Dressier than short sleeves
A long sleeve aloha shirt reads a step more formal, which is why grooms often wear one while the groomsmen stay in short sleeves. Paradise Found's Midnight Garden even comes in Wedding White. Jungle Bird, the Magnum P.I. print, is here in a long sleeve version too.
Palaka and paniolo
Pineapple Juice's Paniolo Palaka shirt is cut from palaka, the checked cloth worn by Hawaii's plantation workers and paniolo (Hawaiian cowboys). It runs Small to 3X-Large in four colors.
For something lighter, RJC's Island Lifestyle and Surfers Island are long sleeve T-shirts, not button-ups.
Sizing
Paradise Found's men's shirts are known to run large, and every other label here keeps its own size chart too. Measure a shirt you like armpit to armpit and collar seam to hem, email the numbers to jz@MauiShirts.com, and we'll match you to a size.
