Rayon or cotton
Two Palms' rayon shirts, like Leilani Hibiscus, Tuberose Hibiscus, Napali Calla Lily, Fan Palm and Palm Trees II, are soft and hang loose from the shoulders. The cotton shirts, like Makapu'u Ceres, Block Honu (Tapa), Crack Hibiscus and Pineapple Garden, are crisper and easier to wash.
Many prints carry all the way to 4X-Large, so a father and a big son, or a groom and his tallest groomsman, can wear the same shirt. For a beach wedding, the Hibiscus Panel men's shirt is Wedding White.
Fathers and sons
Leilani Hibiscus comes as a men's shirt and a boys' rayon shirt. The boys' shirts, including Hawaiian Orchid, Mini Hibiscus and Orchid Fern, run from size 1 to 14.
Sizing
Every Hawaiian maker cuts to its own size chart, so the Large you wear in one label may not be the Large you need in the next. Lay a shirt you already like flat, measure it armpit to armpit and from the collar seam to the hem, and email both numbers to jz@MauiShirts.com. We'll tell you which size to order.
